I hope you’re all enjoying this last week till Christmas. Hopefully you have your shopping, baking and decorating done and can now kick back and enjoy the festivities! Lol.
Sorry I’m so late with this post but had some issues to contend with so….
Welcome to my house tour!.

I’ve hung faux garland this year as I couldn’t find any real greenery that was thick enough and didn’t cost an arm and a leg!
You can read more about the mantel here.
I’ve used them everywhere this year, I even hung them from the curtain rods ( seen this in a couple of magazines and loved it), I also filled my baskets with them.
to dress up the breakfast nook table.
These are the little jugs/creamers I added to my garland. They go so well with my ironstone.
You can read about them here.

For the dining room mantel I used some peach pointsettias and birch lit up with little LCD lights I got from IKEA, they were only a buck a set! There are 3 sets wrapped around the birch and it looks so pretty in the evenings.

Here is a little peek at the main floor powder room. I just added a little bit of red to add some Christmas colour.

I sewed up some of my 5 minute cushion covers (It can become addictive it’s so easy!) out of this lovely taupe coloured toile. It goes well with the linen and burlap cushions that are in the room.
I hope you enjoyed my little Christmas tour.
I still have a little bit of Christmas in the bedrooms to show you, hopefully I’ll get that done before Christmas arrives! Lol
Blessing to you!

I found your blog through my sisters blog (Savvy Southern Style) on Wow-us-Wednesdays last week. I fell in love with your Christmas mantel. I love your style! That's such a cute idea to hang pinecones from ribbon like that. Your tree is pretty too. Thanks for all the eye candy and inspiration!
Everything is so beautiful, Kim. So happy to be able to go on a little tour.

Absolutely GORGEOUS! So elegant and fresh! Your home tour has opened my eyes to so many possibilities outside the traditional red & green color scheme and thematic decorations. Your house looks lovely! I love all the greenery with the white!
And that chamber pot with tp in the bathroom ~ clever! I have one that I bought to put in the dining room until my oldest son told me it was an antique toilet! I've never known what to do with it. Thanks for the idea!
Merry Christmas!

Your house truly is one of the most beautiful and charming I've seen. Every picture looks like something straight out of a magazine! Do you have a professional interior design background? I want you to come over and re-do my house! lol Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Your house is so beautifully decorated for the holidays! All the pictures of your home is incredibily gorgeous. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Your home is gorgeous decorated for the holidays. Love all the green and white and the natural items. I used lots of pine cones this year, too. Love them. I am still loving that garland across your hutch with the white creamers.
Kim, your home becomes more and more beautiful every time I see it! Your decorations are so pretty! Merry Christmas!

Your house is so pretty for the season! So well put together. I love all the greens with the white, and the natural elements and neutral colors. I'm crazy about those toile pillows too! Happy New Year!
I love everything you did for Christmas! You did such a beautiful job! I've saved all the photos and will use Them for inspiration for next year.
What a beautiful "natural" decorating style. Your house is beautiful. I too love Iron Stone. I would love to decorate in white woodwork like you, but I have a hubby who refuses to let me paint the woodwork in our 1940's bungalow. Go figure. 😉
Happy New Year to you are yours. Cant wait to see what you have in store for us now.
Stephanie
