Hi everyone.
Thanks for the lovely comments regarding my sewing tables to night tables!
I am really pleased with them. They’re the perfect size for my room and I love the height. There is also room to place baskets underneath for added storage!

Well, here is part 2 of my little mini makeover.
I’ve been planning on doing this project for months now as my old bedskirt just wasn’t cutting it. There were very few bedskirts that I liked and the ones I did like were too expensive. So…I would have to make my own, back to my old standby fabric, the dropcloth.
Yes that’s Jack’s tail in the pic. He was all over this bed. He loves to be in the middle of my photo shoots for some reason.lol
Here is the before bedskirt. A little bland eh!
Jack says thanks for visiting and admiring His my new bedskirt.
Stay tuned for tomorrow when l reveal what I did with that 112 year old door/headboard!
Be blessed!
I’ll be partying with these ladies:

Love the bed skirt, and my friend Cindy is making one for my guest room she is also making the duvet cover and the euro shams all with our beloved drop cloths… I was in Lowes picking up three more and there was a painter guy standing next to me and he said "looks like you got a lot of painting to do" I looked at him and said NO I'm sewing new linens for my bed… You should have seen his face, Priceless…

Gorgeous! You just answered my year long quest for finding a new bedskirt. I've been looking forever and they are either really bland or you have to buy the whole bedspread set to get the skirt. Perfect.

Gorgeous! It adds so much character to the room!

What a clever idea. A natural, even slightly wrinkled look appeals to my casual nature.
I need a bedskirt for my bed. We put the bed up on risers. I love a high bed, and I love the extra storage space it created. I do not love that my bedskirt is too short. You can buy skirts for high beds, at a high price. Maybe I could make a skirt from a dropcloth, too. I'm not much of a seamstress, but I can sew simple stuff. Great idea!
faithful love says
Very cute! Dropcloths are great for making tablecloths, curtains, and throw pillows too, especially outside…I am always buying 1-2 yards of prints I love at Home Fabrics, because eventually I know I can pair them with solids when I want to update my look, which I'm in the process of doing right now…love French Country…love those dropcloths…great work!
Lori @ Projects Plenty says
