Hello everyone!
We’ve seen them all over blogland lately…those wonderful coffee filter wreaths. They’ve come in different colours, some coffee stained, some tea stained, some au naturel and I love them all!
I just had to make my own. I don’t know if I did something wrong but this little gal took me
over 3 hours to make!
I used a green foam base, don’t know how many filters I used as I didn’t count! And a glue gun. It’s the first time I’ve used in a glue gun in years! And I have the burns to prove it!
I’ve been wondering where I should put it. It was a toss up between the breakfast nook and over the dining room mantel.

She is so pretty that she looks good just resting on the table…
or on the wainscotting…
I think I might hang her in the breakfast nook on the pation doors. They’re not the most attractive doors so I don’t know if I want to highlight them…
Then I thought maybe over the mantel in my dining room, (not decorated completely yet).
Does it kind of overpower the mirror? What do you think?

Kim! That is one amazing wreath! I love the white coffee filter style for Christmas! It looks so full and beautiful! I can see why it was time consuming. It shows!!! Sorry about the burnt fingers. Ouch!

Beautiful wreath! It is so full and pretty! Hopefully you still have finger prints left! 🙂 I always burn myself with the glue gun! 🙂 I purchased everything to make one this year and never did, might have to revisit that since it started snowing pretty good here and we may have some snow days coming up! 🙂

did a wreath using brown coffee filters but your wreath is so pretty in white that I might have to make a white one too.
I think I like yours over your mantle best. You might try hanging it a little higher than the mirror so it only overlaps the mirror or putting some greenery behind it, sticking out around the edges.

I just found your blog! I love it! I just opened an antique store in Michigan and your ideas are fabulous. I do have one question…..I am redoing my living room in mor of a shabby chic meets victorian theme and I love the wallpaper. I have to live with dark green carpeting for now but I want to add just a hint of color on the walls. Can you tell me the brand and name of the wallpaper?
